I've been asked by my team leader to evaluate various PDF authoring s/w and recommend the one that best meets our requirements. Nitro Pro is among the top candidates, but I've discovered a bug that is too serious to ignore! I've tried several times to convert Word documents that contain headings, to PDF using the latest Trial Version of Nitro Pro. The conversion appears to complete OK and the resulting PDF is of excellent quality, but the Word document's headings are not transferred to the PDF as bookmarks! For the conversions I've used the Nitro Pro Word Add-on, and have ticked the checkbox "Convert Heading Styles to Bookmarks". I've tried many combinations of different settings and quality selections for the PDF output, but the resulting PDF files never contain any bookmarks. When I simply save the Word document as PDF (using Word's built-in PDF converter), all headings are correctly transferred as bookmarks to the resulting PDF file. I've reproduced this behaviour in two different computers running different versions of MS Office under different versions of Windows. In all cases, Nitro Pro somehow completely ignores the heading data when creating the PDF files, even though the selected settings specify that the heading data should be used. Furthermore, the same issue occurs when converting from Excel to PDF! Again, no bookmarks are generated in the PDF for each Sheet, even though the option "Create Bookmark for Each Sheet" is selected.
As per the advice on ( community . gonitro . com/topic/5161-image-quality-loss-during-conversion/ ) I used the uninstall tool ( install . nitropdf . com/professional_13310605/install-cleanup/install-cleanup.zip ) then re-installed the newest version. Same results. I have only tested one other PDF program (e.g., PDF element) which does not have this issue.
I am using Nitro Pro 12 with Windows 10. When I convert a PDF image file to Word (*.docx), I get a series of separated text boxes. I do not get a continuous word processing document. Is there any way to obtain a continuous word-processing document? Thank you.
My word hyperlinks are preserved when I convert it to pdf in Nitro only if I do a 'save as' from word to pdf, but not when I 'print to pdf'. I think the print to pdf is more of a reader-type form and doesn't preserve the hyperlinks that way. Hope that helps.
Hello, I'm having issues converting large PDF files to word. PDF files are between 18,000 to 26,000 KB. When press the convert button the process starts, the green bar shows where it's at in the conversion however when the bar is at 100% it sits there and does not convert it to word all the time. Why does the screen freeze. I have successfully converted pdf files that are 26000 and 13000 but the majority of the pdf to word conversions just freeze. I have waited for hours on a few to see if it's just still in the process of converting. To clear I would have to use the task manager to end the process. What am I doing wrong? Note that I am using a Trial version of Nitro Pro 8 that came with my Lenovo lap top. Thank you.

Nitro PDF to Word converter can convert PDF to Word, but Nitro's operating system is not very beautiful, if it is a novice may not be very good to get started. And it has few conversion formats, if you have other needs is not very convenient. That's why we will introduce UPDF in the first part, UPDF has 14 formats that can be converted, and the quality and content of the original document are the same after conversion.

With the latest patch to version 8.5 (included with a purchase of version 8), Nitro incorporated a nifty PDF-to-PowerPoint feature. For anyone who works with presentations often, this one-click converter is a godsend. The flexibility that Nitro offers in converting PDFs to different file formats and back is unequaled and undoubtedly one of my favorite things about the program.
The Stamp Signature tool is convenient, as it captures, stores, and overlays your handwritten signature on PDF files. It even password-protects your saved signatures so other users can't gain access. To use it, just snap a photo of your signature and create a QuickSign profile within Nitro.
At a third of the price of other PDF editors, Qoppa PDF Studio offers an extensive set of features for creating, editing, and annotating PDFs. Users can also protect PDF documents through passwords, encryption, and user permissions to prevent unauthorized access.
