This is really cool mod. Bus feels great i like how the small ideas work together. This is not often visible here and is nice to have something fresh looking. But there is huge problem, this mod became repetitive way to quickly. Maps didn't have much variations and punching shitload of revenants became boring and bit repetitive quickly.
With regard to the wad, while punching 12,000+ revenants to death is not my cup of tea, there are a number of great things that have come out of this, such as "Revenants Per Minute" and "The Busslayer."
The revenant can have two legendary stances equipped, and of these only one can be active at any given time. As well as weapon swapping they can swap between channeling two legends. Channeling replaces the last five skill slots on the skill bar, depending on the current legend: the healing skill, three utility skills, and the elite skill. Revenant traits tend to synergize with the skill set, similar to a skill type.[3]
In the biography step of character creation, revenants must decide which blindfold they wear to shut out their physical world interaction. This choice is merely cosmetic and determines their starting head armor, which can be hidden or transmuted after character creation.
I love the animations but I do not like that it is pigeon holed into being only a support weapon because the damage is very lacking and auto attacks are very slow. It is hard to get stacks unless you are standing there whacking away at a golem and even then it drains energy way too fast in combination with heralds upkeep skills and you are not able to activate the pull efficiently. The pull feels underwhelming because you are already in melee range due to the auto attacks being in melee as well. For a scepter I was expecting a bit more range on at least one of the skills. What the point of pulling aside from the short cc when you are already in melee? Why are you pulling something already in front of you? You wont even be able to pull from far away because you wont be able to get the stacks unless you are repeatedly hitting them in melee. I was so excited for scepter on revenant and I know this is a beta but this weapon just makes me sad and I can't see myself ever using it in its current state.
Finally, Otherworldly Bond is an upkeep skill that creates a spiritual tether between you and your target. The tether has differing effects based on whether the target is an ally or an enemy. When used on an ally, the tether continually grants might to the target and allies around you. When an enemy is being tethered, the target will instead be inflicted with vulnerability and take additional strike damage from the revenant. The tether can be manually broken with the accompanying follow-up skill Deactivate, and it will automatically break if the revenant moves too far away from the target. And like Blossoming Aura, attacking enemies will cause the effects of the tether to strengthen!
