Did Eastland yacht sales close? I have tried a couple of times to go to their website and it times out.

Jim Eastland (in his 80’s and in poor health) has retired.  His younger partner Richard Nolan, as I understand it, has closed the brokerage business and is now working just as a dealer for Hallberg-Rassy, although he is not listed as a US Dealer on the current H-R Web site.  The last email address I had for him was rno...@eastlandyachts.com but you could also try his cell at

I was communicating with Eastland in June when they suddenly went dark.  When I was in Essex in July I went by their address and the office was gone.

Hi

 

I had an email exchange with Richard Nolan about listing my boat for sale – I had purchased it through Jim Eastland  in 2004.

 

He informed me that they had decided that after June 30, 2019  to no longer list a Nonsuch for sale since the boats were too old and selling for such low prices, it wasn’t worth the time and effort. He went on to say they would focus on selling new boats. I listed the boat for sale with New Wave Yachts.
