Hey, this is Jim Wombles from the developer’s meetup. I absolutely love the design of your site!

I wasn’t sure how else to get in touch with you but I wanted to let you know that I purchased an online course on HTML5 that discusses a few of the topics that we were interested in for the group app as it relates to HTML5 such as GEO Location, HTML5 Canvas Writing, and HTML5 Audio and Video.

The course is 42 lectures (the first 6 or 8 are an intro to HTML but it quickly gets into the good stuff) If you are interested, you can find it at http://www.udemy.com/search?q=HTML5 Udemy.com charges $99 but I was able to get it at $24 through appsumo.com (groupon for programmers) which I recommend joining if you haven’t already.

I don’t think that I was assigned any work before the next meeting, but I now will be sure to come prepared with a working knowledge of how the concepts we are considering learning might be implemented in HTLM5 for the next meeting. I want to be an active contributor despite my inexperience!
