National Fisher Women's Conclave Invitation

The Human Rights Advocacy and Research Foundation (HRF) invites you to a three-day conclave of fisherwomen from marine fisher communities (Meenavar=Fisher, Penngal=Women, Mahanadu=Conclave) from all 14 coastal districts of Tamil Nadu with solidarity participation of fisherwomen from all coastal states of India, in Chennai from 10 to 12 July 2026. 

A safe, empowering platform for fisherwomen to share lived experiences, deliberate on common challenges, and collectively strategise for justice, livelihoods, and dignity.
