IDCA is organizing its Seventh International conference in India on Janaury 12, 2010 to be held and pleased to invite you as a keynote speaker. The purpose of the conference is to promote, networking, collaboration, learning, volunteering, giving, and sharing the resources each of us have to make a better world starting with our mother country. We are expecting at least 20-30 international students from US participating in the conference. You will learn from the experts who have been solving problems related to education, healthcare, livelihoods and management of natural resources and deployment of renewable energy systems and devices to eradicate poverty and climate change.

India Development Coalition of America (IDCA, www.idc-america.org) was organized in Chicago in mid 2004 after a conference held in October 2003 to understand and promote Rural Development in India. It is a 501 (c) (3) Illinois Not for Profit Corporation. All contributions are exempt from Federal Income taxes. It was formed to bring together Indian American NPO’s, members of India Diaspora and institutions working towards India’s sustainable development under one umbrella. IDCA’s vision is: a developed India, free of poverty, ignorance, diseases, socioeconomic disparities, ecological disasters, and social disharmony.
Recently IDCA supported a Water and Sanitation project in a village near Vizianagram, Andhra Pradesh, and a Solar Lantern Project in Chitrakoot, Madhya Pradesh. We are also building links with many good NGO’s and groups in India to advance our Mission and Vision for India. In 2010 we organized conferences in India (January), Washington, DC (August), Terrre haute, Indiana (October), and Milpitas, California (November) on the theme stated above.
We organized our First West Regional Conference in California. More than 15 organizations participated and shared there experiences in the areas of Rural Development, Education, Healthcare and Livelihood generation.
