Installation Abort on Step 7 - 5.0.2

Hello guys,

I'm trying to install v502 (official release) on a new domain, using
in-portal, in-bulletin, in-newz and in-link, on Rome (PHP 4.3.9).

I've activated debug mode, and on step 7, I have:

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /var/www/
vhosts/itoulouse.net/httpdocs/core/kernel/nparser/template_cache.php
on line 192

You can try to reinstall using the following DB credentials:

DBName = "lkijfoiehzjfioshdf"
DBUser = "tiejdg"
DBUserPassword = "12345" (btw there is another issue with password
containing non-alpanumeric characters, that's why I use an simple
password for solving 1 problem at a time)

(I've emptied DB for you to try the whole process).

Looks like you have safe mode on on your server. There was a bug with template storage problems in database when safe mode is on. Here it is: http://tracker.in-portal.org/view.php?id=551 and it's scheduled for 5.0.3 release.

You can apply patch from it or ask someone to apply it for you to fix the problem.

thank you for your fast week-end reply, it worked with the pacth.

For your info, just deactivating safe_mode doesn't help, only patching
solves the probem.
