Got frame in frame - mirror effect, when clicking on folder, like "Configuration".

Happens, because of js error:

getFrame("head").$ is not a function
getFrame('head').$('#extra_toolbar').html('');

Tested here:
http://beta.in-portal.org/5.0.3-beta2/full/admin/index.php?env=-index:m0--1--s-

Doesn't happen on my installation. Maybe "head" frame was modified locally in a bad way?

Please note that we had similar issue before and then it kind of
disappeared or at least we thought it did...

This seems to be an intermediate problem and occurs in some cases
(can't replicate 100% yet) when you have "Remember Last Admin
Template" configuration ON (by default) and then browse to some
Configuration section.

When you login back it shows you the correct (last) Template, but
gives you behavior Alex has reported initially.

The reason why I am almost certain that such behavior is related to
the "Remember Last Admin Template" since problem just went away with
setting set to OFF.

Now I am trying to replicate the same behavior once again to come up
with the bug recipe.

Any help or ideas would be appreciated.

I had this mirror effect few times, sometime because session was timed
out, but for other cases I don't have a precise recipe to reproduce
it.

Alex, Phil,

While I can't replicate this in 5.0.3 Beta2 (since turned OFF Remember Last Admin Template) you can still try this in 5.0.3 Beta1 version.

Let's concentrate on finding the Reproduction Recipe for this bug.

under Chrome with 503, if you keep admin open until you are timed out, and then clic anywhere on left menu, the loggin page appears in the right frame, and the total reload doesn't happens (in FF, the loggin page appears also in right frame but there"s an immediate page refresh leading to normal logging page).

I might have a way to reproduce this.

There can be the case, when "view" permissions are not set on all sub-section a specific folder-type section (like "In-Commerce") and when this section is clicked, then frameset inside a frame is shown.

This happens clicked section, that usually just opens it's first sub-section can't do that and open 'index' template, that contains a frameset.

To solve that we must display any general template, that would inform user about incorrect permission configuration instead showing 2nd frameset inside.

Sounds like a good solution.

Would you please create a task for this?

But what should we show exactly instead of sub-frame? No matter what page we show it must not check any permissions on it, or otherwise we're back at square 1.

Hi Alex,

Yes, I recall it happened with one of the recent projects where it had case described by you.

Please create a proper Task so we can resolve this issue.

Task only can be created if all is clear.

Some things aren't clear to me, please refer to my previous posts.
