Not grey semi-transparent background under thickbox on OSX (all versions of In-Portal with ThickBox)

When opening a thickbox popup (e.g. any editing window in Admin Console in "Modal Window" mode), then grey semi-transparent background is missing because of 404 error about macFFBgHack.png image.

Same problem on Front-End.

Easily to test on any OSX VMWare images publicly available. Image attached.

After a bit of digging it turned out, that there is no need for this image if we remove OSX detection all together from ThickBox JavaScript code.
