The CMS editor in the admin (the overlays) only works once.  You can edit anything, save it, all is well - but then no more overlays.  Phases behave the same way..

This is Firefox 3.6.3 and Safari 4.05 on OS X Snow Leopard

I've gotten in the habit of clicking the "Content Mode" link at the top again to get the overlays back, but sometimes I forget ;)

Hi Chris,

Thanks for your report.

Can you please tell us the version you are having this issue with?

I'll check on 5.1.0 the same thing shortly and will post here.

Can you please provide screenshots? I don't completely understand what you mean by disappearing overlays.

Hi Chris, Alex.

Yes, I can confirm the same issue in 5.0.3-RC1 (will test 5.0.3
shortly).

The problem is that once I do Add or Edit any Phrase or Content block
in Content Mode it won't properly load the mode again so I am not able
to repeat the add/edit operation. It looks like it loads regular
Browse Mode and I have to click on Content Mode again to be able to
add/edit content.

Alex, let me know if this is clear enough.

PS. I think it's kind of critical.

Thanks.

DA.

That issue was fixed in http://tracker.in-portal.org/view.php?id=626, but it appears, that proposed in that task fix was incomplete.

I also found same problem while merging from 5.0.3 to 5.1.0 release and fixed in there (file: http://source.in-portal.org/in-portal/branches/5.1.x/core/kernel/application.php?revision=13545&view=markup). No separate patch for 5.0.4 release.

If needed before 5.1.0 release, then I can assemble it.

Thanks for quick reply.

Yes, I call to have this fixed in 5.0.4 since 5.1.0 might not be ready
for Production sites that soon.
