This is a very good effort so thanks for that.

I have a question about the Ubuntu image posted on the Thursday, 4 April 2013.

Dose the tar ball linaro_12_04_gpu.tar.gz contain the kernel or just the Rootfs?

It was mentioned on Sunday, 10 March 2013 that VPU/GPU are working but on 4 April "1. VPU (video) acceleration, totem resorts to software encoding due incompatible fsl plugins. " So is the gstreamer VPU plug-in working or not?

linaro_12_04_gpu.tar.gz It is just the rootfs + including the kernel modules from my kernel. You can replace with your own kernel or use mine.

The 11.10 image is Ubuntu Oneiric and 12.04 is Ubuntu Precise.

The 12.04 image doesn't have VPU working. Gstreamer fsl plugins aren't working and reverts to software de/encoding.
