The express.raw() and express.text() middleware have been added to provide request body parsing for more raw request payloads. This uses the expressjs/body-parser module module underneath, so apps that are currently requiring the module separately can switch to the built-in parsers.
The pillarjs/send module has implemented a protection against the Node.js 8.5.0 vulnerability. Using any prior version of Express.js with Node.js 8.5.0 (that specific Node.js version) will make the following APIs vulnerable: express.static, res.sendfile, and res.sendFile.
The express.json() and express.urlencoded() middleware have been added to provide request body parsing support out-of-the-box. This uses the expressjs/body-parser module module underneath, so apps that are currently requiring the module separately can switch to the built-in parsers.
The express.static() middleware and res.sendFile() method now support setting the immutable directive on the Cache-Control header. Setting this header with an appropriate maxAge will prevent supporting web browsers from sending any request to the server when the file is still in their cache.
Update to jshttp/fresh module to address a vulnerability. This will affect your application if the following APIs are used: express.static, req.fresh, res.json, res.jsonp, res.send, res.sendfile res.sendFile, res.sendStatus.
Update a dependency of the pillarjs/send module to address a vulnerability. This may affect your application if untrusted string input is passed to the maxAge option in the following APIs: express.static, res.sendfile, and res.sendFile.
See how SAP HANA combines an ACID-compliant, in-memory database with advanced analytics processing, such as geospatial, graph, document store, and machine learning libraries. The trial includes SAP HANA, express edition, available for free for development and productive use for up to 32 GB of RAM.
Transfer rate is expressed in transfers per second instead of bits per second because the number of transfers includes the overhead bits, which do not provide additional throughput;[51] PCIe 1.x uses an 8b/10b encoding scheme, resulting in a 20% (= 2/10) overhead on the raw channel bandwidth.[52] So in the PCIe terminology, transfer rate refers to the encoded bit rate: 2.5 GT/s is 2.5 Gbps on the encoded serial link. This corresponds to 2.0 Gbps of pre-coded data or 250 MB/s, which is referred to as throughput in PCIe.
This is a bit of an old post but for anyone else that needs a solution make sure you're connected to the network that the license is on. I work from home and I have to remote into my company network to access any projects. Today I forgot and my access to Mathcad was revered to the express version. Even though I relinked my license it did not give me full access until I was on the network. Hope that helps!
I'm in the position where I've run into the limitations of SQL server express and have bought a license for SQL Server Web edition. What is currently installed on the server is SQL Server 2008 Express with Advanced Services, and I'm trying to upgrade it to SQL Server 2008 R2 Web Edition. I've since discovered that you can't upgrade any edition, including express, to Web Edition. So here I am with 100 databases that I somehow need to get upgraded.
That's not quite correct and I'm sure this is a source of much confusion. You can still create DBs in SQL express (desktop or workgroup edition DB server) wirh ArcMap and then work with them just fine in Pro.
My opinion - I can understand the use cases for SQL Server express DB's but find that the limitations they impose (from the MS side more than Esri) creates issues overall with performance and size limits.

If you are updating to SAP HANA, express edition 2.0 SP 02, the libgcc_s1 and libstdc++6 packages must be version 6.2 or newer. To update these packages, register your system with SUSE and run zypper install libgcc_s1 libstdc++6. For registration instructions, see the SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12 documentation.
Log in as hxeadm. Depending on your version of SAP HANA, express edition, you will either use the built-in update utility, or download the new versions of SAP HANA, express edition through the Download Manager. Your primary choice should be the built-in update utility.
We have opened a plant in Thailand and I need to sync a very small database that we have here in California. My boss doesn't want spend the license for Enterprise edition in Thailand for 1 50MB database so I was wondering if anyone knows a good way to utilize log shipping with SQL Express edition. I have a job that is doing a log backup of my primary db to a network folder and my problem is that SQL express does not come with an Agent to schedule the restore on the server in Thailand. I downloaded an application called Scheduler 2.0 but it's not very robust and doesn't have many options. I have the script that copies the log from the network folder and does a restore with standby option to the database in Thailand, I'm just trying to find out the best way to schedule it? I haven't had great success with Windows scheduler in the past. Anyone use Powershell? Can it be done with that?
I mostly agree with the reviewer. I started using C1 express Fujifilm in January after decided not to renew my Adobe Photo essentials w/ LR CR and PS. But before that the only let down from C1 is mostly related to lens corrections. BTW, I only shoot in raw and like the shadow and highlight recovery from C1 better than CR. Only missing local corrections from C1 express, but it is free and way better than Fujifilm X Raw Studio.
You can always check the correct upgrade price from your express to the unlimited fuji, Sony or Nikon version from your capture one account. The pro version for all camera makes is the most expensive. The cheaper unlimited function versions for Nikon, fuji and Sony are the same, but just limited to this specific camera manufacturer.
Harry Bug:
To get the free version, go to this page and click the blue box that says "Capture One Express for Fujifilm", *not* the box that says "Download free trial":

Timely article, thank you. I'm about to get a X-E4 and have LR6.14. I've tried the demo of Iridient, seems ok not great. My question is, on Capture One express, can you save yr edits a Tiff files so I can edit in other software without losing data? Cheers if u can help
I can never export my files to any other format (none) in Capture One. It's useless. I have a Fujifilm express license and subscription. my pleas go unanswered. error is due to license restrictions. Any help would be appreciated.
With Capture One Express existing for Nikon and Sony as well its a pretty good program to standardize on without having a constant tax on your hobby, you don't really have to relearn anything. Though of course express versions could go away at some point.

Hey Patrick,
Looking forward to a non-express recipe for Atole! I just found an amazing source of masa fresca from All Souls Tortelleria just up the road from me in Vt and looking for a good, home recipe for atole!
SAP HANA, express edition first appeared with the SAP HANA 1.0 SPS 12 release in 2016 with a free license for development purposes. Since, the focus of SAP development changed to cloud-first in 2018 with the SAP HANA service followed by SAP HANA Cloud in 2020 with updates every quarter. As a consequence, should you be interested in the latest features and functionality for SAP HANA, we suggest to consider the cloud edition.
Unlike the cloud edition, where you are up and running in a few clicks, working with the express edition requires a bit more effort and skill. First we need to to download the software, which requires a download manager, which requires a Java runtime (we cover a few of the first hurdles below). Next, you either need to install the software (advanced) or run it as virtual machine and here again, you may need to tweak and fiddle with configuration settings to get the virtual networking working and be able to connect with a client running on your host computer. Next, we may wish to make changes to the SUSE Linux operating system (for example to receive support pack updates) or the SAP HANA database (for example to update certificates). For those less familiar with a command line interface and tools like yast and vi, hdbsql, editing /etc/hosts files, and similar activities, you may find working with SAP HANA, express edition a bit challenging at times. Again, for ease of use and the latest functionality, consider SAP HANA Cloud. For those that enjoy tinkering, please proceed.
For those with a sharp eye, you may have noticed that the Welcome message displays SAP HANA, express edition 2.0 SPS04. Should you prefer this message to be factually correct, you can easily modify this by editing the file /etc/issue-sap as root.
Data Warehousing Foundation is still supported for SAP HANA, platform edition 2.0 SPS 05 but no longer included with SAP HANA, express edition 2.0 SPS 05, as documented in the feature scope description (FSD)
