DUPLICATE mails in my INBOX

Dear member,

I need some help on my mail box.

I moved my data from a 120 GB hard drive to a 320 GB one.

In the process somehow many mails seem to have got copied 5 times more... resulting in some 1,8 lakh mails !!

Can someone suggest a way out ??

I used to write code - but that's a long time back... just a simple comparison of the subject line, date, time will help in eliminating the duplicates...

Hi

I am looking for an app that would search though a specified HDD connected to my iMac and would mark out duplicate files.

I have a pretty messed up hard drive with me, which has a lot of recovered files image files.

Though the files do have individual names, quite a few files have been recovered more than a few times from different locations.

Also being camera files,  they all appear to have similar looking names ( e.g img_3486.jpg, img_8480.img), so its pretty frustrating to visually mark them and delete them.

I am looking for app that would check file properties, such as Date, Filesize, Cam No. or something and uniquely identify and display duplicate files.

I kinda checked online and found a few apps that say they do it, but I would like some trusted word for it…. Any kind suggestion?
