Role Description / Skills required

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5+ years of GoldenGate / Oracle DBA experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences, related engineering, or technical fields.
• Oracle certifications a plus.

 

Required Skill Sets:

• Expertise with Oracle 11g and 12c databases.
• Familiarity with RMAN backup and restore functionality.
• Competence with Oracle Enterprise Manager administration.
• Experienced with GoldenGate 12c installation and configuration.
• Creation of GoldenGate parameter files for data transformation.
• Experience with GoldenGate Integrated data capture for Oracle.
• Familiar with GoldenGate Data Conflict Avoidance techniques.
• Ability to configure the automation of GoldenGate through O/S scripts.
• Experience with GoldenGate configuration in an Oracle RAC environment.
• Familiarity with Active-Active and Multi-Master GoldenGate configurations.
• Ability to diagnose and understand GoldenGate errors and replication failures.
• Competence with PL/SQL scripting and debugging.
• Proficiency with UNIX/Linux operating systems and shell scripting.
• Strong written and verbal skills with a focus on customer service.
• Ability to work in virtual teams and independently when required.

 

Optional Skill Sets:

• Oracle Data Guard experience.
