Hi,

 

It was good to meet you all yesterday. Toshaali, Sameer - thanks for organizing this. I dont have all the email ids so request you to please forward this to all the people who took the time to be present and also miss their dinner. 

 

I am trying to summarise some of the points that we discussed. 

 

1. We need to construct the alcom by creating a support structure of the alumni. I have some people identified and in the next phase we start to contact these people and build a team of alumni who would support us. 

2. You all need to create a google group of your team and send it to me so that I can get in touch with all of you. Also please send me your passport photographs or any photograph for that matter which will enable me to recognise each one of you when I speak next time. Abhishek - can you do this please

3. Registration process of Alumni association to be initiated in the next week for both 1st and 2nd year. Toshaali to get in touch with me and discuss the procedure. Target completion by 15th August 

4. Customised database to be prepared. For example - HR database, database of people working as recruitment consultants (sorry missing the name but the only lady representing HR can do this), alumni in automobiles, alumni in IT, alumni in FMCG (Inderjeet can do this), etc

5. j4i coordination with Rajesh - concerned alcom member to please speak to me on Saturday

6. Guest lectures / interview coaching classes to be organised for current 2nd year students, average 2 - 3 in a month. Alumni Association will be responsible for this and will discuss the schedule by  end of the month. We would do it industry wise - first 2 lectures will be on advertising and telecom industry.

7. Vidisha to be made the administrator of Chungi Nights fb page and to work directly with me on process and procedures.

8. We need to set the agenda for the next meeting and draft out a detailed action plan. Schedule a Saturday when you all are ready and we can meet at IMT. I will also try and get a few alumni along with me on thatb day for the first guest lecture.

9. Please send me your ideas - individually so that we can make a framework and discuss it at the earliest.
