1. A request letter from the institute addressed to FedEx duly listing the names of the students who would be required to visit the facility.
2. The ID proof of the students (Govt. ID – like passport, Voter ID) and their institute ID.
Based on the same, we will take the Customs permission as well as arrange for the pass for the said students for visiting the Customs notified area.
Can we plan it for Wed, 6th Mar’13. Please confirm.

be completed for the facility visit. I'd be happy to know the details at the
earliest as it will take some time to organize these things at the institution

Thank you for your mail. We spoke on this. Ms. Das will reach out to you to
discuss the internship for the students.
Also, I'd appreciate you giving me a list of things that would be required from
the institute to organize the visit. As per our discussion, you had said that
you will send a mail giving those details and I await the mail. I think you had
said that you would need a mail (or letter not sure please clarify) from the
institute requesting a site visit for the students to understand the express
logistics work and the mail should list out the name of each of the student and
attach their Photo ID and residence proof (preferably a passport copy, I
suppose should suffice?). This will enable you to obtain pass for the visit and
also customs permission for the students to visit the sterile (bonded) area.

Hope you are doing well.
Taarek, will it be possible to organize a facility visit to these 13 students
at FedEx airport facility? It will help them a great deal. They are very keen
to see what a modern warehouse looks like as I explained to them how tech savvy
FedEx is and to what extent FedEx has invested in India.
They were quite disappointed when we told them that there was no project for
their group as they did not have sufficient time. In fact I told them that I
will do my best to organize their facility visit. This will motivate them and
also enable them to talk about FedEx in all their futuristic activities as they
involve themselves in the student and corporate life.

The Executive Batch PGDM 12-13 students of the GSCM (Global Supply Chain Management Elective) at IMT-Ghaziabad are required to visit a facility as part of their applied learning .
In this regard may I request you to let us know if they can visit the FedEx facility (Airport)to gain an understanding of the operations.
Total no of students : 13
This would go a long way in enhancing their concepts learnt in classroom .
