Exam Details for December 2013 Cycle - PGEM-2

Dear All,

pls note the following with regard to the exams in this cycle (December 2013). 

Pls note the nomenclature:
1. Online exams – means exams at designated Aptech centres (list in SIS)
2. Internet exams – means exams via internet only for those students who are located abroad/at a location with no available Aptech exam centre. 
3. Written exams – not applicable for your batch. 

Important Note:
a. Pls read all instructions carefully while filling up the Exam (both online and internet) forms. Any dates and timings chosen by you would not be changed under any circumstances. All bookings are final. Pls choose carefully. 
b. Book your seats as early as possible as the slots are limited. Allocation is on First Come First Serve basis only. 
c. No requests for any allotment/changes thereof may be entertained. 

Guidelines: (for Online exams)

Exam Dates– 06th January to 02nd February, 2014. 

[The below process is applicable for all students in India and in places where there are accredited/available Aptech exam centres. The list is given in this End-Term Exams, December 2013 (Online Mode) sub-heading in SIS. Pls go through the same first.]

a. Last date for booking the exam slots for Aptech exams is – 31st January, 2014. (You need to register first) No bookings will be accepted after this date. Period! 
b. Login to the Student Homepage (SIS) on our website
c. Scroll down to the heading - Examinations/Marks
d. Under the sub-head – End-Term Exams, December 2013, focus only on the Online Mode
d. Step 1 – Registration and Re-appear Fee Payment
You need to Register before the exam booking is enabled. Registration is mandatory for booking the exam slots. 
This needs to be done by 31st December, 2013. No registrations would be possible after this date.
(Pls note – submit any reappear fee as applicable, else simply register for the exams applicable to your current semester). 
e. Step 2 - Click on Exam Booking) and choose the available dates and timings to book the seats for all your exams. (This will work only 3 days after the Registration)
f. Admit card(s) would be generated thereafter, pls take a print out immediately. You may not be able to do so later.
g. Carry the admit card with you to the exam centre along with your IMT-CDL ID card or in its absence, any valid govt issued photo id proof. 

Guidelines: (for Internet Exams)

Dates – Internet exams to be held from 06th January and 02nd February, 2014 only. 
All exam timings must be between 0930-1630 IST.
Pls note that no exams would be held on 14th and 26th January, 2014 (IST).

[This facility is provided as a special case only for our students located abroad or in remote locations. Certain guidelines and conditions need to be followed to avail of this facility] 

Allocation of this facility to any student, regardless of circumstances, is at the sole discretion of IMT-CDL.  

Terms & Conditions
1.  Pls do not fill up this form without taking prior approval from IMT-CDL/me. All entries without an email approval would be cancelled summarily without any intimation to you whatsoever.  
2. Pls ensure that you take the exams from the same location that you have sought approval for. No change of location will be permitted. 
3. Pls take a note of the timings and dates that you have opted for. Under no circumstances would a change in timings and dates be allowed. Pls choose accordingly.  
4. This is CLOSED book exam. Pls do not indulge in any unfair means like talking on the phone, flipping books, using a second laptop, having an off-camera friend to help or suchlike while giving the exams. 
5. In case you are found to be indulging in any such activities, any other types of unfair means or swapping your approved exam locations, dates and/or timings, all your exams will be cancelled even at a later date if such a discovery is made. You would also be blacklisted and not allowed to use this Internet exam facility ever again. The decision of IMT-CDL management in this regard would be final and binding.
6. This facility is being provided as a convenience for those students who have a need for it; pls do not misuse the same, else we shall be forced to discontinue this service for the blacklisted students. 
7. Webcam, mike and IP based monitoring will be done by IMT-CDL personnel to ensure the sanctity of the examination system.
8. Only students residing abroad or based in remote locations in India during the exams will be allowed to avail this facility. 
9. Students abroad will need to send us a scan copy of their passport (front page, visa page, entry stamp page) and state in the email that they are residing in such location from such time. 
10. Students in remote locations in India will need to send us a scan copy of their address proof of that remote location and state in the email that they are residing in such location from such time.
11. It is the students’ responsibility to arrange for a reliable laptop (with a properly working webcam and mike), internet and electricity facilities.
12. It is the student's responsibility to fully comply with these terms and conditions. 
13. IMT-CDL Management does not take responsibility for any damage arising from the student's non-compliance with these terms and conditions.

Process:
a. The last date of booking for the Internet exams is – 25th December, 2013. 
a. You would need to fill up this form (pls do not book using the SIS system). Use this Link -  https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?usp=drive_web&formkey=dGw0Zi1rOXdkMUtZSDZ2WEloY1RBN2c6MA#gid=0). 
b. Prior approval needs to be taken from me before you go ahead and fill up this form for INTERNET exams. All entries made without this approval would be cancelled summarily without any intimation whatsoever. Pls send all the supporting docs as an attachment (scan) at the time of seeking approval for appearing for the internet exams.   
c. This form is to be filled by ONLY by these students for INTERNET exams. All other students would need to apply as per the Aptech process outlined as above. 


Guidelines for Reappear (Sem 1 - as applicable) Exams:  (for both Aptech and Internet mode)
 
a. Last date for receipt of fees in the system is 31st December, 2013. 
b. Fees - Rs 500/- per paper
c. Fee Payment: 
Done via Online credit/debit card (prefered option) or DD
(Credit cards payments take 3 working days to be processed, so pls keep this time gap in mind while applying for the reappear exams)
- The DD may be of the consolidated amount in case you are re-appearing for more than one paper.
- In case you are paying through DD, then you would need to submit a plain paper application alongwith the DD, mentioning the reappear papers that you are applying for.
- The DD needs to made favouring “IMT-CDL” and payable at Ghaziabad or New Delhi
- Do mention your name, roll number and paper code(s) on the reverse of the DD.
- Send the DD to me/Exams Deptt at IMT-CDL, Ghaziabad.
- DD has to reach us at CDL on or before 28th December, 2013. Pls plan accordingly.
- The booking for these reappear exams would be activated with 3 working days from the receipt of your fees via Online.
d. Pls send you fees at the earliest since desired slots may not be left available for booking.  
e. Once your fee payment is processed, pls use the usual processes (respectively for the Aptech and Internet exams) as above to book your dates and slots for these reappear exams. 
f. Reappear Internet Exam students pls fill up this form (link - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?usp=drive_web&formkey=dC1ZOTNsS0Y2OTZoc25WdjhGZlltclE6MA#gid=0). Pls do remember to send a mail to me for approval before you go ahead and fill this form.
