MINNEAPOLIS (March 13, 2026) – Pangea World Theater is pleased to present The Mind Has a Hundred Thousand Gates: an exploration for the stage through poetry, spoken word, music, and movement of Kabir, a 15th century poet from India. This will be a concert performance with narrative and poetry intertwined to bring the powerful words of Kabir to life. With musicians and composers Pooja Goswami Pavan and A. Pavan, Pangea World Theater explores Kabir’s message of love and compassion and how his words resonate today. Created by Meena Natarajan. Directed by Dipankar Mukherjee.

Sacred Bridge: Earth and Water

Care for the earth and the sanctity of water are central motifs in David Jordan Harris and Nirmala Rajasekar’s new artistic co-creation, Sacred Bridge: Earth and Water. Building on more than a decade of musical collaboration, Harris and Rajasekar weave music, poetry and wisdom literature into a concert drawing on the deep pool of Sephardic piyyutim and kantigas and the rich tradition of Indian compositions in various ragas and talas. The concert is produced by the Jay Phillips Center for Interreligious Studies at the University of St. Thomas and takes place at Schoenecker Science Center Performance Hall (2210 Summit Ave., St. Paul).
