ARAJ is one of the most popular Indian bands comprising exceptionally gifted musicians, who are the face of India's contemporary classical music scene today.  Conceptualized by the star Tabla virtuoso Ishaan Ghosh, ARAJ is a crossover classical group that performs traditional Indian music with a contemporary approach and brilliance. It is this hallmark of theirs that has brought them worldwide recognition and a dedicated following, especially amongst the youth.  ARAJ's groundbreaking musical ideas have resulted in the formation of a new genre - Indian Neo-Classical music.  Their power-packed performances have enthralled audiences, and they continue to create waves in the music-loving circuits globally. The group has performed at prestigious venues and festivals in India and Europe, like The Bozar Concert Hall in Brussels, The Muziekgebouw and the Tropen Theater in Amsterdam, The Nita Mukesh Ambani Culture Center in Mumbai, The Amare Hall in The Hague, Musee de ethnographie de Geneve, among several others.
