Dr. Jaya Premanand, a founding member, and a benefactor of IMSOM since its inception in 1980, passed away on Saturday, Feb 15.

As you all likely know, Jaya’s husband, Dr. V. Premanand, was one of the founding members of IMSOM. It was the generosity of Dr. Jaya Premanand and her extended family that IMSOM has free access to the concert spaces at the Normandale Community College.
