But......this (free) version still use the old maps?? I think there is no updated for them, it is very important to us to use the latest updated maps and satellites photos,we need to find the exact  coordinates during the implementation of our MRE activities .

Dear Mohsin A. Mahmood,

I am sorry to hear about your experience. When you move the mouse over an area at the bottom it should display "Imagery date:4/8/2014" or something similar. What is the date is showing? what area are you looking at?

Will you please click the icon of a clock see if you can look at the latest imagery (you need to move the slider by mouse). See if it works if not please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Dear Regunathan
Many thanks to your interest.
I followed your advice, when i moved  the slider ,zoom in or zoom out all what happened ?but when i went to setting in the slider, a new widow opened, the options of the widow  appear in Arabic but i translated to you in English :  date/starting time ( it is not enabled)  and    date/end time (enabled).........and some options related with timings
it is appear in date / end time 24/10/2010
In breef it is easly to see that the maps are old due to that i built my house in 2012, i can not see it on the map, only empty area
best regards
mohsin

It's possible to download arcgis 10.2.2 60 days trail via http://www.esri.com/software/arcgis/arcgis-for-desktop/free-trial
I am sorry I don't know where you can download version 10.3.

Dear Mohsin,

It looks like google is no longer accepting outdated imagery complaints. But you always set an alert when they will update an imagery to a certain area via https://followyourworld.appspot.com/ they (Google) will send an automated email about the imagery update.

For the time being will you please try to download http://greatmaps.codeplex.com/releases/view/20235 the first one says GMap.NET.WindowsForms.zip
You can enter the coordinates lat and log in WGS 84 (you might be using MGRS in Iraq) but you can get the approximate coordinates from Google Earth or from GPS. You can enter the values there. Below that you can choose the gmaps. Bing Satellite maps or Ovi Satellite map see if you can an updated imagery. When you find the correct place click the mouse. It will create a marker. When you click the icon says "Add markers" will show the lat long on the screen.

There exists a way to upload photos to panoramio (http://www.panoramio.com/) with the coordinates (If you have geotag capable camera - I mean GPS camera this processs is automated) that later if selected will appear in Google Earth. I am bit concerned security situation in Iraq may not be possible to do that or may be risk. You know the situation better than me. Stay safe
