August 2021 Release

This is a minor release that:

• flushes the printer cache file to disk periodically to allow access when the printer is not busy
• responds to the IMSAI PTR-300 printer initialisation command to reset the printer
• adds 132 column paper options to the printer, LPT: device on the web UI
• performs a printer initialisation command to reset the printer when Reset pressed in LPT: device on the web UI
• adds support for a hardware parallel printer interface for LPT:
• adds support for a printer initialisation string for a hardware printer connected to the parallel port

I successfully updated my machine, but the web frontend still shows version 1.7.0 ?

Must be the new version tho, if I cycle through the printer paper formats it now also

has a 132 characters/line mode.

And now also my old printer buffer is empty when I restart the machine :-)

The version of web frontend now also shows 1.8.0, had to clean browser cache.

How do you like the 132 column mode? It is a personal favourite feature.

But I also like the hardware parallel port, and will publish the schematic and a PCB design shortly. It only requires a 74HC595, 74HC00, 2x100nF caps, a 10K resistor and a schottky diode for voltage protection.

This is very good, assembler listings often are 132 characters wide and now are better readable.

I have no physical printer anymore, but the virtual one is great, I can save my printings as a PDF.
