Does anyone have any thoughts about this:
I know it takes a long time to teach 15-20 kids foundations as a
group, because there are only really two 'wandering' instructors...if
both decide to wander around and correct/help. What if on Monday we
split into 3+ small groups (depending on how many intermediate
students we have) and work on teaching basic punches, blocks, and
kicks then? It might save us time on the first day, and we might even
be able to get through all the basics (and not have to spend time
explaining on Tuesday). Reconvene for kata as a group...or, if we're
feeling brave, keep those same groups for kata and reconvene for a fun
energy drill at the end of the morning on Monday.
