Pakistan’s Taliban Generation

Directed and Filmed by: Dan Edge / Urdu and Hindi with English Subtitles

Filmmaker Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy investigates how the war on terror is
creating a generation of child terrorists in her homeland – children
prepared to kill both inside and outside Pakistan. With the recent
attack in Lahore on the Sri Lankan cricket team, last year’s massive
suicide bombing in Islamabad and assault on Mumbai, Pakistan’s radical
Islamists are bringing violence to the major cities of Pakistan and
beyond.

Dove Days

The film takes a critical view of the role of western media in selling

Pakistan, for establishing peace in the region, with special focus on
Pak-India relations.

Firaaq

Directed by: Nandita Das / Mins / Hindi with English Subtitles

The story is set over a 24-hour period, one month after a campaign
that took place in Gujarat, India, in 2002. It traces the emotional
journey of ordinary people- some who were victims, some perpetrators

fo9llows multiple narratives that are at some times interconnected and
at times discreet, yet all are united by their spatial and emotional
context.
