There is this saying about how evil grows because good men do nothing, that is complete bullshit. It is bullshit because doing nothing would never be an option for a good man. Police supporters come in one brainless faction... a non thinking brick of commercialization who think our justice system is based on the Law and Order television series.
The word of one cop means more than the crowd that surrounds them, more than the reality of the situation. Today's cop is a monstrous breed grown in a public union environment where the killing of a child playing with a toy gun is equal to a paper cut. An environment in which a cop can enter into a stairwell shooting at shadows yet get released from any responsibility when the bullet ends the life of a man grabbing a quick smoke. A small little break before heading out to a second job because making ends meet is rather hard when our taxes support monstrous public entities of mass murder. An environment of terror in which shooting into the window shield of a car where a young confused woman would die because the cop was worried his foot could get ran over as he raced at the car gun blazing, because to him like all of this foul modern blueline, you submit or you die.
Wait, there is one other faction... the one that states just submit, just bend your knees, just bow and submit. Don't worry about your rights, nor your dignity... forget about the ones the marched and fought back such oppression. It is because of these do nothing, just do what a cop tells you assholes that oppression has returned every bit as deadly as oppression can be when all that it meets is submission.
Jamar was executed, he did something rather than doing nothing. Instead of submitting he questioned and he resisted... which is not a capital offence. Nor is "resisting" a crime that people would hang themselves over when jailed for it, yet some how they do. Jamar was executed because he was a good man, and the evil is that our very own government did nothing.
