Merry CHRISTmas!
Every man (or woman) has a personal history, enriched (or impoverished) by his/her thoughts and the decisions he/she is allowed to make. And the accumulation of that fluctuating energy created around him, adds up to the Universal energy “levels” we call Universe.
That energy needs balance, as the weather sends “magically (or even tragically)” pouring rain after years of draught, pushing the resilience of farmers to their limits, testing once more the heart? of lenders (because in the end, there is only humans everywhere). But we were speaking of balance. And after a year of draught or rain or every “physical” phenomena existent, we come back, as a wheel, to CHRISTmas.
It all seems like “planned”, right? That a person, whose name is written in documents still conserved until our days, but more, announced hundreds of years before his arrival in this perfect time of the year, (1) arrived exactly as prophesised, (2) lived exactly as prophesised, (3) died exactly as prophesised and (can we believe this?) lives, (4) LIVES exactly as prophesised.
I was a bit philosophising with a friend about religions some days ago, and I set a challenge for him, simple… Who lives? If every single person prays with faith to “The Real God” to manifest itself, who do you think they will see? That idea is summarised in the documentaries called “More than dreams” ( https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC8vXCOmC-4CD0aQUU25R0tg ) Because it is important to understand before making the next decision in our lives, before going through this peaceful, recomforting and also meditative part of the year. And my point here is about number (4), it is by faith that we are saved (not only now), when we accept that he died and came back to live, and that if we want to find The Truth, we can always ask Him to reveal Himself, and he will do it.
It is simple, who has the Power to reveal Himself? The Only One, the one that was born to Save, to humble us after our “I can” attitudes, by showing us that only His Mercy allow us to go through a series of “casual” facts we reject to accept that it occurred in a planned way. There was a smart, stubborn person that tried to prove her wife wrong and he ended up writing “The case for Christ” his name is Lee Strobel (there is a movie on Netflix US about it), please, watch it or, better, read the book.
Today, I openly pray to Him to help all of us to understand His Love, in the words of Matthew, a brother of mine like any other can be: “His love is comforting, it is also irresistible once we start to experience it, it is truthful, powerful, uncontrollable, limitless, unstoppable.
John 15:9 [9] “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love.”
I pray His Peace will embrace all of us as, also in Matthew’s words, “we ALL fall short” of His Love (who deserve more praise than who loves more?) And this is the perfect time of the year to come back to Him, as he created us for a purpose, and accept His offer, the offer not of a life in which cravings (and bills 😉) that never stop, not of a life limited by counted years (time), but a life filled of uncountable marvels, of peace, a life without bills or debts or rich or poor or guilts, a life of absolute forgiveness, a life of plenty as was the earth on its beginnings.
