Hi there,
We are free. Really?
Yes.
Even when we face the toughest of the trials, even when there are always more questions without apparent answer(s), even when competition (be it fair or not) seems to be the only way up... there is still the opportunity to breath and the privilege of much more sometimes we do not see, blindfolded, perhaps, by trials, questions and competition.
Day after day, the opportunity to slow down is closer, and even when we have not "planned" for that, it is coming... And with that will come the realisation about our path... reflections that might help to understand the power of our freedom.
The power of our freedom relies in the historical fact of the "birth" of Christ. He died in the cross to set us free from guilt and anger, and just move on in the hope that we will do our best to be Holy as He is.
Our merciful God did not hesitate to send us His only Son: " For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:63)
I just want to share this and as many similar things I have spent some time trying to decipher. But my understanding is limited, and it is your faith and acceptance that this life cannot just be this short, that will help every one to find his/her identity with the positive power of the universe (as we are all one with Him)
I feel extremely humbled by the smallest of those thoughts and, in a way of a CHRISTmas postcard, I thought it would be good to share.
May the most peaceful of the smiles arrive to your faces in this time where we celebrate the birth of this unique kind of King: a King that sets us free!
Merry CHRISTmas!
