Tasks did not import

Is the process the same for a pc vs mac to import tasks to a new email?

Hi Deb,

Since the import process runs on the Google App Engine server, it does not matter which client you use - it can be Windows, Mac or Linux - so long as the browser is up to date and supports Javascript. The browser on your computer simply displays what is happening on the server.

Some things to check;
  1. Did GTI indicate that the import completed successfully? 
  2. Did you receive an email (sent to the importing email address) from the GTI server which indicate that the tasks had been imported successfully? 
  3. Which import method did you use? 
  4. Have you logged into the importing email account and checked https://mail.google.com/tasks/canvas to see if your tasks appear?
