Hello,

I have an issue with importing csv file.
When I try to import tasks from csv file I get following error:

Google Tasks Import

<br /> <h3>Javascript must be enabled for full application functionality</h3> <br />
File name: Final_part_3.csv
Import method: Delete all tasklists before import
Status = Error

INVALID FORMAT: Invalid tasklist name. Please check the tasklist name at data row 1
Invalid tasklist name [SATURNJANK]; System Error: HttpError: <HttpError 400 when requesting https://www.googleapis.com/tasks/v1/users/@me/lists?alt=json returned "Invalid Value">

I tried to change the name of my task but there was no difference.
Sometimes import stops on row1 and sometimes it stops on row 167 or others.
Today morning I imported similar file and there was no problem.
Could you help me?
Is there something wrong with the server?
Is there are any limits for import per day or number of tasks in file?
You can find my file in attachment.
Waiting for your support.

Regards,
Pawel

to GENBA Poland, Import Google Tasks
Hi Pawel,

I'm sorry to hear that you're having problems.

I have checked the logs, and they do indeed show a large number of server errors. Normally, HttpError 400 "Invalid Value" does indeed indicate an invalid tasklist name, but it appears that the server is currently returning that error even when the tasklist name is valid.

The Google Tasks server does unfortunately misbehave from time to time, and the errors returned don't always provide much help. In this case, it would appear that the tasklist name is OK, however for some reason the server decided that it is an "Invalid value". Then, the next day, the same value will probably be accepted.

There is a total daily limit of 100,000 tasks, but yesterday GTI only processed 21,000 tasks, so I don't believe that is the issue.

I'm sorry that I can't offer any further help. Unfortunately, the Google Tasks server is out of my control ... I have logged an error with Google

Regards,

Julie
