Good news!
Glad to hear that there is new life here! I saw the ImplicitCAD page about 2012, and thought it was really cool.
I like Haskell, and maybe I can contribute in the future, if I get time and energy. Anyway I like to follow whats happening!
I'm interested in 3d printing, and own a mendel90 reprap printer.

Anybody else in this list who likes 3d printing?

Cheers,
David

I'm big into 3d printing, that's why I maintain ImplicitCAD. :)

Great to hear!
Then you (and probably more people in this list) are one of the first very few persons I encountered who is interested (actively, as it seems) in both 3d printing and Haskell :-)

I am following some facebook groups for 3d printing, but *nobody* there is interested in functional programming.(afaik)

I think a slicer would be a perfect application for Haskell. Do you know anybody who have tried?
Maybe there are new plans to add it ti ImplicitCad?

/David

I'll be forking that soon. I've bugged the authors to make it license
compatible with ImplicitCAD. Also, there is a fork of ImplicitCAD with
a very primitive slicer.

It's in the pipeline, but... HELP! :)
