About Imperial Scholarships & Next Steps

Hi All,

This is what I have come to understand from your mails so far.
Imperial has started distributing scholarships & the recipients
personally receive a mail from Ms. Wee informing them of the
scholarship. What I wanted to know was whether this is the same as the
Rajiv Gandhi scholarship ? because I didn't qualify for it since my
GMAT score was below 700 or was everyone who applied to the school
automatically considered for scholarship?

Second, for those who are not getting schols or even for those who are
getting schols( since the amt being disbursed is just a fraction of
the total cost) are you planning to take any higher education loans? I
in all probablity will have to resort to this route and am actively
researching this option. What I've discovered so far is that Public
sector banks( SBI recently announced 11% for lonas over 7 lakhs) offer
a better Interest rate then Private sector banks ( HDFC is at
13-13.5%). Anybody else has an idea about education loans?
