Dear group,

I reinstalled MEISP recently due to some unrelated problems. Upon
starting the program, a warning window appears stating that it failed
to create a new user project file. It seems to create additional
problem when importing data. Has anyone run into this problem and
solved it? I have Zplot data of commercial Li-ion batteries and would
like to fit a model to extract changes versus temperature and cycling.

Thank you all,

Chris

This coul be due to write permission that some windows versions don't give for program files folder. Try to follow instuctions in impedance0.tripod.com to copy it to different folder...

Dear Sir,
May I use the MEISP software for the impedance spectra analysis for amorphous semiconductors.
I have downloaded the LEVMW software but I think it will take some time for me  to fully understand and use this software (reading 170 pages and designing new equivalent circuits).
MEISP seems easier to handle and good to start with. So please let me know whether I can use it for the fitting of Nyquist plot or Bode plot for amorphous semiconductors.

with best regards,

Subhojyoti

MEISP contains the largest collection of existing equivalent circuits in its cirquit library.
After loading your data-file, go to "single fit" tab, and chose "From Library".
It will open html document where you can select a model to use.

Look under "dielectric materials" or under "empirical models" for simple models you are looking for.

Alternatively you can make your own circuits using included circuit editor (press "New"),
function editor (use "form file") or even your own compiled function "From DLL".

If in doubt, read extensive help documentation that comes with program (by pressing F1 or using help button).
Help is content sensitive, it will open right page dependent on where you are on F1.

Regards,
Yevgen

Here is a screen shot of circuit library to give you an idea:

I am currently MEISP for amorphous semiconductors. I have already learned to draw my own circuit and build an additional library.
One challenge I am facing is how to export or save the fitted data. At one point I saved one but by accident, I dont know what I did. I cannot export the fit data, which I need for plotting in a separate spreadsheet for analysis.

Thanks
Albert

Fit data is automatically saved in a file in the same folder and name as original data but with extention "fit"

Did you follow the insructions on my website to move everything to a different folder? Windows does not allow to write to program files folders...

I am facing exactly the same problem. I use windows 8.1. I also followed the instructions provided on the link provided by Dr. Barsukov but to no avail. Anyone else facing the same problem? Any solutions?
