Dear all, i am Anderson from Brazil and will be glad if some of you can help me on my problem.
Is it possible to measure the variation of impedance/resistance of a solution (ultrapure water + ferrous ammonium sulfate) with increasing iron concentration with precision?So far, I'm doing two electrodes EIS (using two platinum plates ~1cm²) , but the impedance value increases every time I perform an EIS measurement, without adding anything to the solution (The first EIS is the black curve). UV-Vis spectra confirms that there's no change in the initial iron concentration of the solution.After some measurements increasing the iron concentration, I noticed that the platinum electrodes show some marks on the solution level that seems to be some adsorption, that increases the resistance.Is there any way to mitigate this effect or another way to measure the change in impedance/resistance of the solution without affecting the electrodes?I really could use some insights.Thanks in advance.--
