Hi,

I have been using Firefox the moment Linux was introduce to me 3 years
ago and I have never ever switch to IE unless I had too but I have to
admit that my experiences with Firefox on Linux is terrible unlike on
Windows. Firefox is independent of Windows unlike on Linux, the
desktop environment is integrated with Firefox and no independence. IE
is integrated with Windows when it comes to Internet Connection
however IE is still independent. Do you understand? I like the new
look of Firefox and I was extremely expecting the same when I
installed it on Fedora 9, I'm disappointed.

Hi,I have tried linux.Not for a long time will I do so again.When I
triple booted with three separate operating systems ( XP Pro,Vista
home and Linspire ) All the windows operating systems slowed down
(less with the XP Pro) and I could not even get Linspire onto the
internet. To tell the truth I do not think many people are happy with
Linux based operating systems or there would be more devotees to
Linux.Right now I have three browsers on the same hard drive disk. They
are IE-7,Mozilla Firefox 3 and the latest Opera by Mozilla ( which I
have just downloaded recently ).I have not much problems having all
three, but the occasional crashes, freezes every now and again on IE-7
and Firefox 2 ( I have recently upgraded to Firefox 3 and no crashes
yet ).

Hi there

It seems like you like Linux a little bit. Well I can only tell you
that you need to start using linux with a very basic, graphic and easy-
to-use distro, such as Ubuntu or its derivates, because It is getting
more popular and the community can really give you good non-official
documentation.

Anyway, If you like graphic stuff, like AeroFX, you can do it without
any computer programming knowledge with Linux, as most of the people
think. And some people do not like Linux because they have problems
with the Drivers, but that is because the manufactures do not produce
Linux drivers (in most of the cases), so from that point of view is a
little disapointed.

My point after all, give Linux an opportunity. Firefox is awesome and
works pretty well on both Windows and Linux systems.

When comes between Windows and Linux, I rather go with Linux. I am one
point shy from falling in love with Linux, my only issues that I have
with Linux is difficulties in application installation, support
especially lack of detail help documentation, stability of
applications that are available free for Linux, consistency (It seems
applications have a different way of doing things to accomplish the
same task), and I would like to see Applications not adopting you OS
theme for every aspect of the UI. Hardware support is not currently a
issue for me since I got my latest MP3 player working with no
complications out of the box. Linux display better colors then windows
I think and a simple desktop. Linux has better security then windows.
I can control every security aspect of the OS I want. And bottom line
I support OpenSource software. Thanks to Linux I'm a intermediate PHP
programmer.

Yes I agree with you UNIX but what other choice do we have but to use
Firefox in Linux. If some improvements could be made would be great.
It seems to me that more attention is put on Firefox for windows,
understandable since Windows holds majority of the share on desktop
but don't forget about us who uses Linux.
