SIP & SCREEN: THE MARCH THAT ELECTRIFIED A MOVEMENT
BUSBOYS AND POETS | TUESDAY, MARCH 27 | 5:30 PM
What’s better than wine, feminism, and movies? Absolutely nothing. That’s why we’re combining them for Women’s History Month. Join the National Women’s Law Center at Busboys and Poets (14 & V) on Tuesday, March 27th for a screening of the short documentary film Women’s March and a panel discussion on the state of women’s rights and activism a year after the historic Women’s March. The panel will feature Fatima Goss Graves, President & CEO of NWLC, and Brittany Packnett, Vice President of National Community Alliances for Teach for America, in a conversation about resistance, hope, and the ongoing work for liberation and justice. Join us as we celebrate our history and our future.
Doors open at 5:30. Film starts at 6:00 pm. Panel discussion to follow.
