Hi Cherubs,
I hope this note finds you well and feeling proud of the meaningful work we’ve pursued together. For three years, we’ve gathered each month with a shared purpose: to help everyday investors support community builders, social entrepreneurs, and diverse founders making a real difference in the world. It has been an honor to build this little community with you.
After careful reflection, Gail and I have decided that our next meeting will be the final gathering of the Impact Cherub Club in its current form. As many of you know, we set an ambitious goal at the outset—to grow the club to the point where we could routinely deploy at least $10,000 into each opportunity we chose to support. Despite everyone’s enthusiasm and goodwill, our recent poll showed that we’re still far from reaching the scale needed for the model to be truly impactful. Rather than letting the club drift along without achieving its intended effect, we believe it’s better to bring this chapter to a thoughtful and gracious close.
That said, I want to emphasize this: our shared commitment to impact investing and to the founders who inspire us has never been stronger. The work continues, and the relationships we’ve formed here absolutely matter.
At our final meeting, we’ll do three things:

- Review a final set of potential investments and consider making a last round of commitments as a group.
- Reflect on what we've built, celebrating the good we've done together.
- Discuss how we want to stay connected and how we can continue supporting one another on our individual impact-investing journeys.

Here are a few quick notes from our November meeting. We considered a "short-fuse" offering, Gravel & Gold, and voted not to invest.
We heard Jackie's diligence report on
HEVO and voted to invest.
Marcia thoughtfully evaluated Pump for Joy and recommended against investment. The group agreed.
For next month, Marcia volunteered to look at LIVSN Designs. Jackie volunteered to report on Gold Leaf Farming.
We look forward to seeing you at our final meeting on December 16 at 1:30ET/10:30PT.

Dear Devin
I just wanted to let you know that I will most certainly be at the last Impact Cherubs' meeting tomorrow - I am so sorry I haven't been able to attend in recent times (life has been life-y) but what I have learned and experienced through having been part of the Impact Cherubs group since the start has been invaluable and I so treasure it, and I keep track of news and updates from Sirocco Energy, whom I made my little Impact Cherub investment with right at the start. Huge thanks to you and Gail for this very special group and concept and I know its work and impact will continue to ripple out.

Thanks for all of the hard work that you have put into this- many have enjoyed the thoughtful work and innovations that you and Gail have created. I will be there at this last meeting.
