Im having fun with this game but the only complaint I have is the Zoo Limit. The game gives you such a large area to build but I can't fill it how I want to due to there being a Limit. It is frustrating because I want a lot of everything but it keeps telling me I have reached the limit.
Im wondering the same thing, I remember back then in PC we had no zoo limit, could release the animals, actually customize the paths and animal exhibits, more animals like zebras and penguins. I guess taking all that away from the PC version is ok but adding a zoo limit is so pointless I cant build what I want
Maybe they want you too, but even still there is more room than you can fill. I also thought the limit would go up with level, but I'm at 40 and I've had the same limit filled since 28 or something. So I don't think it increases with level, unfortunately.
It wont be removed by DLC, at first when the game came out I thought the XB360 version will be the one with the zoo limit but hearing that the XBox One also has it makes no sense. It's there so you don't add too much to cause the game to lag but for an Xbox One title you'd think it wouldn't be that much of a problem. The XB360 version gets pretty bad with lag when you start hitting the limit and use the camera.
Well I mean obviously it is there for a reason. I assume the limit is bigger on the One than 360, but it has to be related to performance. It is still a launch game not surprising you cant make the zoo any bigger. Just wish they would tell you when you start the game so you dont have to jam everything. The fact that there is a zoo limit basically makes the whole game seem shitty. You can only make a few exhibits. And when you level up you have to keep constantly building infastructure to maintain the guests happiness, so when you are level 40, your zoo is still tiny with maybe 8-12 exhibits and 6 bathrooms, 6 restuarants, and 6 fun things and 10 decorations. Fairly lame.
Sounds like its no different than the XB360 version then. About the same amount of items on my map with a tiny bit of room to spare. And moving items further out seems to cause people to think its missing and demand more of said item, but when you move it back closer it goes back up to normal.
Yes, even in freeform mode. I hate it, because I want to create some amazing parks but can't 'cos once I level up I end up having to delete so much, and not being able to delete exhibits unless all animals are out of it is a pain.
I have held off on buying this game because of what I've heard concerning the zoo limit. Can anyone tell me if this game is still worth getting? Also: can you create multiple zoos under different saves in order to enjoy all the different animals???
Well, the term "worth" is a subjective concept. What I feel X is worth, may not be what you view it as. Having said that, for $40, I definitely think the game is worth that. And yes, you can make multiple zoos on different saves.
This is frustrating. Not many different types of animals and even then you can't even have them all in the same zoo. This is XBOX One and I have played better games than this on the 360. With so few games out now you would think they would try to make the first few as good as they could. Instead they are just reformatting games made for other platforms.
NOTE: Children will still be able to make purchases with gift cards and funds that parents put into their account. The account holder will always receive an email whenever a purchase is made via the Xbox Store.
Parents can set limits for their children to help manage how much they can spend on purchasing games and in-game content through the Microsoft Store on your Xbox console. You can follow these simple steps to set up spending limits:
Could you please remove the pcu limit on Xbox because its too limiting and the types of ships I want to use to battle my friends are over the PCU limits and the type of senerios I want to build I can't even do it.
Keen software I was informed that experimental mode still has limited pcu. why do we have to download a 3rd party app and a dedicated custom server just to have unlimited things thats not a good business practice
Its a server that someone rented with real world money or you can purchase one. Its sucks. Bc the only way to enjoy mods and scripts and no limits is paying money. Funny....Snowrunner just released mods to use on the console. All you gotta do is buy the game, no retarded server purchase required. Skyrim and Farm Sim 2019 also has mods without the use of a server. I spent almost $15 on a 30 day Nitrado server and its bugged. I cant even load a game up through it. Total waste of money and time. Its almost 2021, Keen. We shouldnt have to rely on a 3rd party server system to enjoy the full potential of this game.
If your child is spending too much time on certain games, you can set precise limits to help them achieve a healthy balance. App and game limits are available on Windows 10 and Xbox One devices, along with Android devices with Microsoft Launcher installed. Once you set a limit, that limit will work across all of their devices. (For example, if you give them three hours on YouTube, they can spend a total of three hours on Windows 10, Xbox One, and Android.)
Once a month, I host a LAN where we play various titles, but our 2 hour "warmup" with snacks and social interaction is spent on a desktop playing >= 8 player games. I've had great luck with Regular Human Basketball and Splody, and then also countless 4 player games. I own two Microsoft Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows 10 (new version supporting 8), and was hoping to have both hooked up for 16 controllers. However, only one works at a time. Even with 1, many of these games that have "8 player local multiplayer shared screen" don't register past 4 controllers.
I've been trying to read on DirectInput vs XInput, so I guess I'm looking to confirm that XInput has a cap of 8, DirectInput is (sort of) unlimited, but if the game developer doesn't implement DirectInput, then you're out of luck? Is there anything I, as the user, can do to ensure I have all the controllers properly synced whether it's wired via USB, wireless via dongle, wireless via Bluetooth, etc.?
The XInput API supports up to four controllers connected at any time. The XInput functions all require a dwUserIndex parameter that is passed in to identify the controller being set or queried. This ID will be in the range of 0-3 and is set automatically by XInput. The number corresponds to the port that the controller is plugged into, and is not modifiable.
Another issue is that Bluetooth supports at most 7 peripherals connected to a single receiver. You could get around this by connecting multiple receivers, but I'd recommend using USB connections to avoid interference.
If you have 8+ non-XInput USB controllers and a game that supports DirectInput, you should be able to use all controllers at once. You can mix XInput and DirectInput as long as the game supports both.
It is currently set fixed at 16gb.
I could not complete installing purchased airports from the marketplace. No matter what I did . Even un plugged the power from the xbox and restarted the sim over and over.
My gaming rig is setup where both my sibling and I could play games simultaneously through Remote Desktop. However, I use an Xbox one controller to play my games and for some reason while I play my game, my sibling's game is also being controlled by the controller. Is there a way for me to limit the controller input to one profile? I am willing to do whatever setup necessary to be able to play games simultaneously without interruption. I have only achieved it with Fortnite so far because they have an option to ignore gamepad inputs. I run windows 10 Pro 64 bit. P.S. I've tried using RemoteFX but the controller wont show up in it for the life of me.
This article provides an overview of Xbox services fine-grained rate limiting (FGRL).In addition to summarizing what rate limiting is, this paper also intends to help you determine if you are being limited, and if you are, what tools and resources are at your disposal.
Fine-Grained Rate Limiting was commissioned to promote fair usage of shared Xbox resources among different titles. This solution is like most traditional limiting systems which have a service keeping a count of the number of requests an entity has made in a given period of time.
Entities that reach the services specified limit are then moved to a rejecting state where all incoming requests from the entity will be turned away.Entities are only able to exit this state when the given period of time expires causing the entities associated count to reset.
Fine-Grained Rate Limiting uses the same core mechanics mentioned above however instead of tracking one entity FGRL tracks the combination of user and title and compares the associated count to two different limits as oppose to one.FGRL dual limits are enforced on each service meaning the request count for GameClips will not affect the request count for Presence.
