If this is right, do you think it would be useful to run analyzer in a
big batch when we first start using IMMS on a music library? I'm
guessing that running analyzer only when we listen to a song is done
to fit with IMMS' philosophy of transparency and no user interaction -
if we analyze one song at a time as we listen to it the user doesn't
have to do anything. So obviously we wouldn't want to mess with that.
But how much of a difference do analyzer stats make on song selection?
Do you think it would be useful to have a tool that runs analyzer on
songs in the background until it has analyzed everything in the
library? Would this help tune song selection to the user's tastes more
quickly when they first start using IMMS?
