Error: User should be a realtor

We tested our Immobilienscout24 API implementation successfully in the sandbox. Unfortunately, in the production environment, we get following error when uploading a real estate.

ERROR_RESOURCE_VALIDATION: Error while validating input for the resource. [MESSAGE: user xx@yy.de should be realtor.]

Somehow, uploading the exact same real estate with a different account worked in production. I don't see any big difference between the two live accounts and don't know why it is failing on one. Publishing the same unit inside the Sandbox also worked fine.

What can I do to resolve this issue?

Has the owner of the production account bought any of our publication products or ever entered a listing manually? It seams like a role in the system is missing.
