IMMJ feedback sessions August 5th

Dear all,

Looking forward to seeing your projects and how they are shaping up next week,

We have three external professionals kindly attending, Mary Kay Magistad, Peter Carney and Adam Kerby all have very different skills and should be able to give you a wide range of feedback.

Students, please ensure you prepare a brief ten minute presentation, you can present in anyway you choose - you may decide to give a simple verbal run through, however i'd recommend using some relevant demo visuals. It's not a formal presentation, simply a time economiser so you don't have to keep re-explaining your project each tutorial. The more succinctly you can explain your project, the more time you'll have for precious feedback. Consider the skill sets of each particular professional and try to have targeted questions for them.

IMMJ External feedback session timetable:

9.30am – 11.00am – students presentations followed by a 15 minute break and then into 30 minute feedback tutorials which external professionals and Sharron.

Directions to BFSU:

Subway - Go to Weigongcun stop (line 4), exit from exit D turn right

and walk to the stoplight. At stoplight turn right and continuing walking

down WeiGongCun Road. You’ll walk approximately 500 meters. At

the SECOND stoplight turn left and walk about 70 meters. The GATE of

Beijing Foreign Studies University is on your left. (This is the back gate

of the east campus and that’s the quickest way if you are coming via

subway).

Taxi - Tell the driver to take you to:

East Gate of Beijing Foreign Studies University, 2 Xisanhuan Beilu,

Haidian District

北京外国语大学东门西三环北路 （老北京电视台附近）

Once there you need to find the English building room 118 (Any problems finding the room, please call Sharron who will collect you from the gate)
