I was on vacation last week and now that I'm trying to login to the Malwarebytes Cloud Console, I'm told " Your session timed out. Log back in to continue. ". If I reenter my password, nothing ever happens other than the console redisplaying the same prompt. I have reset my password and cleared my browser cache. Am I missing something? Thanks.

Have you attempted performing this on any other machines to see if they are able to reach the site? The cloud console does only support itself via Google Chrome currently so any other browsers would not be advisable to use.

I would also mention that there was recently an issue that some users experienced during the past week where they found their product had been deactivated and needed to have the license key re-entered in order to become fully active/functional again so I would advise checking that as well just to make certain that is not the issue. I don't know for certain, but I believe it was caused by the servers being taken down for maintenance recently but they are back up now so the issue should not occur again once the product has been reactivated.

@exile360 I had the same issue got solved at Dec. 13th by switching off the 2FA by an administrator. After a positive test by use of a temporary account I activated 2FA again. Everything seemed to be ok until today.

Thank you for reporting this issue. I am sorry that it seems that this issue still persists. Based on your findings it seems that there is some sort of issue with expired credentials/cookies preventing logging in from the same machine a second time once it is time to pass 2FA.

So I did a reset of the 2FA for that account, logged in with username and password, switched 2FA on using the same account at Microsoft Authenticator, logged out from cloud consule and tried to log in - again, the same message was shown.

RESULTS: From what I can tell so far is the the 2FA seems to lock itself to the MAC Address of the computer and that is what is causing the result " Your session timed out. Log back in to continue. ".

From my work desktop I am no longer able to access the cloud.malwarebytes.com and use the nebula platform unless I use a different machine or temporarily disable 2FA then re-enable it on sign in, but this then prevents any subsequent sign ins. I am now having to work with 2FA off but would much prefer it on for security purposes, has there been any traction on this issue?

In the meantime, I'd recommend contacting Malwarebytes Business Support directly by filling out the web form on this page so that they may troubleshoot the issue with your directly and hopefully find a resolution.

I'm not aware of a login within Malwarebytes for Android. You're subscription is tied your Google account. Thus, as long as you're logged into the Google account you used for your premium subscription while installing Malwarebytes for Android from Google PLAY, it should load using your premium subscription. I would try uninstalling and reinstalling. Make sure you're logged into the Google account you used to purchase Malwarebytes for Android.

I am having exactly the same problem on my Pixel 4a. The password is 100% correct as I have used it to log in on two other PC's. I also have a premium account. I've logged into Malwarebytes from the android app many times in the past few years without any problems.

Thanks for the additional info and screenshot. That makes a lot more sense now. I'll ask around for an answer. In the meantime, have you tried doing the "Restore Google Play purchase" to see if it's under your Google Account?

My original password, from the website login, includes a comma. But, I experimented and figured out that the Android app's login screen does not accept commas as valid password characters, so it says my password in invalid. If I omit the comma when I enter my password, it does does not reject it as invalid (but of course it won't let me log in because the password is wrong without the comma). I'll have to change my password so it will work in both places.

Okay first off my auto-renewal is OFF. Yet, my subscription renewed today. Why? Auto renew is OFF. So I tried to login and couldn't. Said my password was wrong. Okay, great. So I used forgot password, got the code (via email) and changed the password. When submitting the new password and verification code; it then told me my account was locked. Now I can't login and dispute the charges to my card. What am I suppose to do about the account being locked? And I don't need the renewed subscription because my subscription is good for another 336 days.

You too huh? My auto renewal is set to OFF yet I was charged today. Interesting that it's happening to others as well. I also got locked out of my account as soon as I tried to login and now I can't even dispute the charge until I get that fixed.

Sorry to hear you're having issues accessing your account and having issue with auto renewal. We will assist you in correcting this issue but it may take a while. The Support desk has a long queue so it currently normally take 5 to 7 business days to assist you.

I don't understand why my account was charged when my auto renewal was off too. I can't even dispute my charge until I can log back into my account. And now you're telling me it's going to take forever to address the first issue? Maybe I should refuse payment through Paypal. I don't want to wait weeks or months just to get my money back for something that shouldn't have been charged in the first place.

I went to log into the my.malwarebytes.com site to de-authorize and old PC of mine so that I could enter the product key for my new laptop I purchased. When I went to log into the site, it said incorrect password which I thought was very odd since I use bitwarden as my password manager. So I tried entering the password manually as well as tried using a different browser and each time it displayed the error of Your email and/or password is incorrect. So I finally tried using the Forgot Password link on the sign-in page and after I entered my email address it displayed the error of User with the provided email not found. So I was a bit freaked out because I can't log into the site and I immediately suspected that my account had been compromised. Just for the heck of it, I tried entering the email address I used to use on the account before I changed my account email a couple of months ago and it appeared to be on the account. I went to the forgot password link and it said it had sent my old email a verification code to login. The issue is I deleted that email and it is no longer recoverable at this point. One other thing to mention is I just logged into my account the other day with my current email, no issues whatsoever. I even have the emails with the login verification code to prove it from previous logins on the site. Does anybody have any clue what might be going on here? I'm worried that something has happened to my account or hopefully its an issue on Malwarebytes's end and not mine. If they had issues on their end and rollback say some sort of user account database or sets of servers to old data, then maybe their system thinks my old email is still associated with my account. If anybody has any possible insight that would be great.

Whenever I try to login to my account on the Malwarebytes website, regardless of browser (I've tried Edge, Firefox, and iOS Safari), it simply says "Something went wrong" and then sends me an email saying "verify your recent sign in", with a code attached. The problem is, there is nowhere on the sign in page to enter that code - it just keeps saying "something went wrong", but never gives me any options, and the only forms there are username/password and the captcha.

Same here---same issue --cannot log in---Had a license on my phone and updated sw and then it says to install a license....So I try to go into my account to see whats going on and cant get in no matter what I do.

I thought I was going crazy. Who would have thought that after several years of just having Malwarebytes running in the background and automatically renewing, the one day I do a fresh install of Windows 11 and need to reactivate it, their website stops working!

I have been having trouble trying to remove these login items. Whenever I try clearing it with the [-] button, every time I restart or shutdown it comes back. I normally try to right click it and make it show on finder but it doesn't let me right click. How can I fully remove it without downloading any apps like Malwarebytes? Everything looks like viruses/malware but Steam. This is on my mid-2014 iMac 21.5 inch

Malwarebytes should not be an issue. It is not a "cleaner" app, like Clean My Mac. Instead it is designed to identify potential malware/adware infections, and if working properly, would have found them on your Mac ... if it actually has any.

They both found something but they are making me buy the full version to fully delete it. Is EtreCheck free? Cause if it is will it also fix my Login Items problem? The exact same items keep reappearing every time I shutdown or restart my iMac.

Pretty much the only thing that EtreCheck is going to "fix" is adware/malware. Even then, you have to be the one to click the "Remove" button. All of EtreCheck security features and adware removal is free.
