Job Description
Client is currently seeking experienced candidates for the position of Senior Microsoft .NET Developer for the Client Online Gateway (KOG) in Frankfort, KY. These application developers will be responsible for building and supporting the KOG application and/or other Cabinet applications. Strong written and oral communication skills coupled with the ability to work with all levels of IT teams are required.
Required Skills/Qualifications:

- Demonstrated understanding of C#, ASP.NET, MVC and Microsoft SQL Server
- WCF Service Knowledge
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
- 6+ years of recent experience as a developer
- Strong experience with MVC Framework, Visual Studio, and Microsoft SQL Server
- Strong experience in C# and .NET 4.5 Framework technologies and web APIs
- Strong client coding skills using Angular, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, HTML, and Bootstrap
- Experience with .NET and Java script Unit Testing
- Strong application debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of object oriented design principles
- Experience building and supporting mission critical applications, running in a highly distributed manner
- Experience in developing and deploying applications in large-scale distributed and shared environment
- Experience in full development lifecycle phases

Desired Skills:

This position is housed within the Office of Application Technology Services (OATS) – Division of Social Support Systems (DSSS). The projects are developed using some of the latest tools and technologies including Visual Studio 2017/2019, .NET Framework 4.7, MVC, Web API, ASP.NET Forms, WCF, LINQ, Entity Framework 6.0 and SQL 2016/2017. The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, result-oriented, and experienced in the development of large web-based solutions using .NET technology
