This group although Wicca is in it's name, is not just for people who
believe in the Wicca Path. All beliefs are welcome here. And I do mean
all.
We grow as people by understanding others as well as ourselves. We may
not always agree but that is what being yourself is all about. All of
us, on a daily basis learn and need the input of others to add to the
wealth of knowledge. I'm sure if Kim were not interested she would not
have asked and she felt confident that you could explain. That is what
sharing ourselves is all about. Never feel you are being annoying.
As for Wicca, let me try to explain my views. I am not completely
Wicca. I do believe in most aspects but also have a background in
Shamanism which I also beleive. The two of these combine into kind of
an earth energy practitioner. My Wicca side understands that there are
energies in all created objects and spirits. These energies can be
manipulated and directed but cannot be destroyed. Also my Wicca side
believes in doing harm to none. By this, I mean that the intention of
all I do should have no intended harm to any person, thing or entity. I
believe in Karma as a balance in all actions that I take. If I
disregard the intent of my actions to do harm, I believe that my
personal Karma will balance my wrongs to teach me to be more caring of
others and that this lesson will be bitter and come back to me three
times harder than the harm I put out.
As a Shaman, by beliefs are with the earth energies and the spirits
that dwell within all. These powers are eternal and just with no
preferance to anyone. Here too the energies can be redirected. Nature
is the key with these beliefs where we are allower to use them but
there is no possesion because they are entities all in themselves. We
are here but momentarily, natures entities are here for eternity and
should be respected.
Keep in mind that these are just my own personal views which no one has
to agree with. My own spiritual path. Within this group, we are all
equal both beginner and mature practitioner. I encourage that there be
tolerance of each other to believe as each will. As I said before, we
all may not agree but we each have that right to disagree also.
So you see Hans, you are a new and exciting member of our little
community. You bring us new thoughts to learn about, to try and
understand and an opportunity to grow with each new thing we learn. I
am very glad that you have chosen our group to share. Do not think of
yourself as a visitor, think of yourself as a member of our family.
Blessed Be My Friend
