Hallo dear members,
I did not wanted to sound that wise. I just wanted to answer to Kim`s question about the black hole sun and about what I`ve heard about it.I think it doesn`t depend whether it is true or false but what we gonna do with this information.
But as a newborn "greenhorn", I`d like to know what this group is about. What does "wicca" mean to you? Beause it is your ( ours?) group and I`m a visitor and i don`t want to annoy you.
I don`t regard myself as a wicca, I don`t know much about it. I regard myself as a human being in perpetual developement trying to sample and integrate helpful things.
I changed from being head-leaded-intelectuall to a belly oriented craftsman. Once I studied psychology now I`m working as a joiner because I get more of that what I need. Namely, work in flow with little disturbance of always dividing or analysing. I also studied guitar. This was important to develop myself. To get in touch with tones, vibrations, textures, harmony vs. disharmony etc. But mainly I just try to be or become a planetarian citizen.
Looking forward to hear from you.
Like to add a poem by Christian Morgenstern.

Das Problem

Der Zwölf-Elf kam auf sein Problem
und sprach:"Ich heiße unbequem.
Als hieß ich etwa Drei-Vier
statt Sieben-Gott verzeih mir!"

Und siehe da, der Zwöelf-Elf nannt sich
von jenem Tag ab Dreiundzwanzig.

Love,peace and happiness.

This group although Wicca is in it's name, is not just for people who
believe in the Wicca Path. All beliefs are welcome here. And I do mean
all.
We grow as people by understanding others as well as ourselves. We may
not always agree but that is what being yourself is all about. All of
us, on a daily basis learn and need the input of others to add to the
wealth of knowledge. I'm sure if Kim were not interested she would not
have asked and she felt confident that you could explain. That is what
sharing ourselves is all about. Never feel you are being annoying.
As for Wicca, let me try to explain my views. I am not completely
Wicca. I do believe in most aspects but also have a background in
Shamanism which I also beleive. The two of these combine into kind of
an earth energy practitioner. My Wicca side understands that there are
energies in all created objects and spirits. These energies can be
manipulated and directed but cannot be destroyed. Also my Wicca side
believes in doing harm to none. By this, I mean that the intention of
all I do should have no intended harm to any person, thing or entity. I
believe in Karma as a balance in all actions that I take. If I
disregard the intent of my actions to do harm, I believe that my
personal Karma will balance my wrongs to teach me to be more caring of
others and that this lesson will be bitter and come back to me three
times harder than the harm I put out.
As a Shaman, by beliefs are with the earth energies and the spirits
that dwell within all. These powers are eternal and just with no
preferance to anyone. Here too the energies can be redirected. Nature
is the key with these beliefs where we are allower to use them but
there is no possesion because they are entities all in themselves. We
are here but momentarily, natures entities are here for eternity and
should be respected.
Keep in mind that these are just my own personal views which no one has
to agree with. My own spiritual path. Within this group, we are all
equal both beginner and mature practitioner. I encourage that there be
tolerance of each other to believe as each will. As I said before, we
all may not agree but we each have that right to disagree also.
So you see Hans, you are a new and exciting member of our little
community. You bring us new thoughts to learn about, to try and
understand and an opportunity to grow with each new thing we learn. I
am very glad that you have chosen our group to share. Do not think of
yourself as a visitor, think of yourself as a member of our family.

Blessed Be My Friend

I see that there are a couple posts on here, didn't read them yet just wanted to respond to this with a fresh mind. I think the intellectual answer was what I was looking for, at this time I would love to look all that up but I just don't have time, but thanx for the food for thot in the future. A little about me, I started out a Christian, I was baptised as an adult as I believed very strongly in Jesus and his teaching (still do). Somewhere along the road I started to really listen to my inner voice and it told me to branch out, so I did. I feel that when your on the right path you get confirmations along the way, which I have. I am learning the Feri tradition of Wicca and I find it an eye opening path. It brings in mind, body and spirit which I've tried all along to atune. Its a nature approach to living, respecting and using what God gave us in a good manor. Your ok here, I've never seen a witch try to convert anyone people just gravitate toward it naturally, hehe. I think it's wonderful your soul searching, more people should think like you, there is so much  out there! Did you know that music is good for the soul? It tunes the Chakras. It is suggested that people expose their creativity for their well being. Sounds like your following your intuition to bring yourself into a better rounded person, this is good. I'm a visitor too and will respect you.
Blessings,
Kim

I feel like I'm a mutt too, it's ok though, I don't feel confused about it, I know I'm in the right place. Something I read lately really has stuck with me and that is too find the similarities in "Religions". Can you imagine if people just realized how similar there beliefs really are how much less fighting there would be. I know, you like me, are afraid to tell people you are a witch, what would happen, would they shun us? I imagine so, everyone seems to associate witch= bad or evil. I do hope to share this message with allot of people and hope the acceptance of one another can begin soon. Believe it or not I haven't even told my own kids! At this point they think I'm a freak or a hippy. I do work with herbs, oils and devining tools including a crystal ball and heck I have a huge broom in my meditation room, but no questions about that yet. Some similarities I can see right away are for most;
creating a sacred space
using incense for clearing
belief in God or a creator
belief that if you don't do good some harm will come to you
dong some kind of ritual acts to bring God in closer
These are just a few I can think of right now, and maybe not put exactly right but, I'm sure you get my point. I feel that by seeking spirituality you are on the right path no matter what your religion is, it may change down the road and you'll still be seeking the truth thats what counts.
Blessed be,
Kim
