Dear friends,

Thanks for choosing to join the Immanuel Lutheran group on Google
Groups. Please help us by recommending this to anyone who would like
to get updates from the church on events and issues about Immanuel.

Right now I am thinking what a great opportunity we have October 23-25
to reach out to the Altamont community during the visit of the Ongoing
Ambassadors for Christ. These youth will be coming from area Lutheran
churches to meet together, study the Bible, have fun, but most of all
to canvas the Altamont community through door-to-door evangelism.

What we need from Immanuel Members to make this a powerful weekend:
- Your prayers for all who will be participating and that people will
be open to the Gospel message.
- People to open their homes to 2 or more youth for lodging on Friday
and Saturday nights.
- Kids of Immanuel to attend the whole weekend.
- Provide a food dish for Sat noon or supper.
- Drive kids to the drop off areas on Saturday AM or PM
- help with the witness surveys
- attend the Sunday noon potluck meal
