Sabancı University Manufacturing Systems
Society welcomes you to its second international organization that will take
place in the beautiful city of Istanbul. We offer you a series of useful
seminars from respectable business people at various successful firms, a
learning environment supported by social activities, which you will enjoy
Turkey, Istanbul and Sabanci University and have fun with lots of university
students from all around the world. We invite you to IMIS'07 (International
Management and Industrial Engineering Summit 2007) between 5-9th of September
2007 at Sabancı University.
As a reference, IMIS'06 hosted a variety of international university students
coming from different parts of the world such as Argentina, Romania, the United
States, Austria, and Kyrgyzstan together with the students and business people
coming from different parts of Turkey as well. The theme of the summit was "CRM
(Customer Relationship Management)", which is still a very interesting and
popular subject that takes the attention of everyone studying at different
fields and in the business world. Besides the seminars given in this
interesting and useful subject, IMIS'06 witnessed a lot of fun and an enjoyable
experience: Boat trip at Bosporus lying between two continents, Turkish night
with kebab and raki, Historical Grand Bazaar tour and Dj parties... Also,
participants received a certificate at the end of this 5-day activity.
After the success that IMIS'06 brought, we felt compelled to present you
IMIS'07! Strong business relations constructed during IMIS'06 gave IMIS'07 the
chance to become a more professional organization and this time, the summit's
topic is selected as "TQM (Total Quality Management)", which is again a very
interesting and an interdisciplinary subject that will bring people from
different backgrounds together in Istanbul for an unforgettable experience.
In concrete terms, everyone who is involved in "QUALITY IN BUSINESS" is welcome
to attend IMIS'07.
In addition to last year's activities, there are two new features added to the
organization: Top human resources and consulting firm ADECCO will collect CVs
of the participants that will make the participants job search easier and a
tour to Topkapı Palace: the famous Ottoman Royal Palace.

The participation fee is 170 YTL (100 € -
136 $), which includes all the accommodation, transportation within
organizations, and all seminars. The accommodation
will be held @ Sabanci University dormitories, where you may like the comfort
