Automatically Update Intas?

Arent they supposed to automatically show up here. Nothing new had
popped up for or my One friend. not until i hit Update Intas did I see
my latest stuff.
Do I have to wait for my friend to press his Update Intas button to
see his latest? Or was this a fluke today?

I've had to manually update my feeds today (my first day) to see anything. I wasn't sure if this was normal or not, please let me know - I would think they would update automatically.

We check for new stuff about once an hour. We're actually working on a
way to be able to do this much more often, but we have to be careful
not to overload the sources we're hitting for data (digg, youtube,
etc).
You can manually update, but otherwise stuff should show up within an
hour automatically. Note that when you add an account we immediately
go out and fetch the stuff that's there, so if you've favorite stuff
on youtube, for example, your videos should show up nearly instantly
when you first add the account. After that, it's every hour unless you
do it manually.
If you find that a service is NOT updating regularly, let us know and
we'll dig into it.

I would think 30 minutes wouldn't be too long to ask when it comes to checking services. If a service freaks out that you're checking it's information every 30 minutes then they don't need to be supported anyways :P

It's not how often we ask a service about you, it's how often we ask
for all our users. If we had 10 users, and asked every 10 minutes,
that's only 60 such requests in an hour. If we have 10,000 users and
ask every 10 minutes, that's 60,000 requests an hour. That's not a
very neighborly way to treat someone who is providing us access to
their user data. We're working with an industry group now to develop
something similar to the way that pingbacks work for blogs, but it'll
be a little while before it's ready.

Yeah, none of my services update hourly today. And still arent. Only
manual updates are showing up.
Im using Jaiku, Last.fm, Digg, and Google Shared items the most. And
it will only pull on manual. My friends updates are not showing up
either, and he Jaikued all day.

My username is amyers. I posted a picture on Flickr as well, looks
like its been updated but from 1:30 to 6 or so I didn't see any
updates even though some twitter times have timestamps of other times.

So we just did a new release of the site. I can now turn my attention to these update problems you've got going on. I'm gonna call it a day, and tomorrow might be a little packed but I hope to have an answer/solution for you in the next day or two.

We don't to expose an "update all" button as this could allow users to
unintentionally over saturate the services we get data from. If
someone was to just click it repeatedly it might get us blocked by the
feed servers.

Digisal, I've tested your account and one I just created on jaiku and
they both update properly (or, at least they seam to). I've added you
as a friend on jaiku so I can see when you post again. Then I'll go
check the logs on iminta to see how they handle the event. Do me a
favor and don't manually update jaiku for now.
Other than Google Shared (which is fixed now) were there any of your
accounts not updating?
