Retrieving metadata with imgurpython: memes_subgallery_image raises ImgurClientError

I reported this as an issue (after asking @ImgurAPI on Twitter) since I believe it to be a bug, so I'll just let you read the issue. Am I right to believe this is a bug? If so, is there a workaround? Thanks!

Hey August! Unfortunately, we no longer support those fields due to a backend change we had to make. Sorry that the docs (and the python library) haven't been updated :(

Ah, that's too bad! So is that data entirely unavailable now? Any workaround? I'm specifically trying to access the background image.

I am also curious if this data is available now. I cannot seem to determine the correct way to get the meme metadata after a call to memes_subgallery(...)
