I'm trying to build a database containing around 600.000 files, and it basically works but i can't seem to add files containing special characters or any characters except a-z and 0-9.
I get the same error message when i try to add those files with the "built in" isk-daemon. So at the moment I don't have a clue on how to proceed.
I have compiled the latest version 0.9.3 from source on my ubuntu 64bit system.
These are the steps i take.

1.) Add the file:
/Volumes/Originalfiler/Akvareller Vår Extra 2014/41406a, 41714a.tif

2,) Debug output
imageDB     : DEBUG    | addImage(dbId=1, fname=u'/Volumes/Originalfiler/Akvareller V\xc3\xa5r Extra 2014/41406a, 41714a.tif', newid=1)
imgdbapi    : ERROR    in method 'addImage', argument 3 of type 'char *'

I guess this has to do with character encoding, that much i understand. But i don't know how to solve it.
The server runs utf-8 and so do my php page, i have tried encoding the filename/path differently. But nothing seems to fix this.

Please let me know if you have any ideas on how to solve this.

Thanks.
