Hi,

I've managed to succesfully install isk-daemon on a Centos 6 machine and can add/query images using the default admin page. That's all well and good but now I'm running into problems when trying to deploy the demo application.

Initially I was hitting a whole bunch of cryptic errors that an upgrade to the open java JDK 1.7 fixed, now I seem to have a web app that appears to do nothing at startup. I don't get anything in the catalina logs, literally nothing, which is confusing the heck out of me.

I'm about to give up and reinvent the wheel (write my own web app using the API) but before I do I want to ask the group if anyone has had any success deploying the demo app. If so, how did you compile/deploy it?

Thanks
Josh

Well I still can't get this working, instead I've created an alternative demo client. If anyone else gets into the same predicament as me you can find it at: https://github.com/joshvote/iskclient. It will need some URL/Img DB tweaking to get it working with your deployment but the code is simple enough that it shouldn't be too hard if you are familiar with Java/Javascript.

can you please tell me step by step, how did you successfully manage to install iskdaemon on centos. I am finding difficulty in installing it on a centos server.

Thanks in advance.
