Memory usage

Hello.
I've installed 0.9.3 under fedora x64, I got everything working fine, however memory usage is a bit concerning:

| RESIDENT MEMORY USAGE: | 1,938.41Mb |
|---|---|
| TOTAL MEMORY USAGE: | 2,327.31Mb |
Is this normal or am I doing something wrong? The db file itself is 66Mb.
